WORKING HOLIDAY VISA – SUBCLASS 417
Individuals aged between 18 and 30 years with passports from specific countries are eligible to apply for the Working Holiday Visa to holiday and work in Australia for a period of 12 months.
Applicable countries are: Belgium, Canada, Republic of Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Republic of Ireland, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Taiwan, United Kingdom.
Visa holders must be in Australia predominantly for an extended holiday and are only able to work with any one employer for a maximum of 6 months for financial support and have limited study rights.
The applicant will have to meet financial, health and character requirements to obtain this visa.
Applicants are eligible to apply for a second Working Holiday Visa for a further 12 months if the visa holder has worked for at least 3 months in a specified regional area of Australia doing specific types of work (e.g. fishing, mining, construction, plant and animal cultivation).

Individuals aged between 18 and 30 years with passports from specific countries are eligible to apply for the Working and Holiday Visa to holiday and work in Australia for a period of 12 months.
Applicable countries are: Argentina, Bangladesh, Chile, Indonesia, Malaysia, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, United States of America, Uruguay.
Visa holders must be in Australia predominantly for an extended holiday and are only able to work with any one employer for a maximum of 6 months for financial support and have limited study rights.
The applicant will have to meet English, educational, financial, health and character requirements and have a letter of support from a government agency (except USA) to obtain this visa.
